Finland
At Avointiede.fi, you can find comprehensive information about open science and about how the transition to an open science system is being carried out in Finland. The website is administered by the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies (Tieteellisten seurain valtuuskunta, TSV). It includes, for instance, descriptions of the coordination of open science and research in Finland, the expert groups involved in this work, and the key policy documents that guide it. The site also provides news and information about events related to open science activities.
The website is available in Finnish, Swedish, and English.
Norway
Openscience.no provides general information about open research, particularly open access, as well as guidance for researchers and institutions on how to publish, fund, and access research results. The website is used to share information about open-access negotiations, Plan S, and Norway’s overall work in the field of open research. Openscience.no is operated by Sikt – the Norwegian Agency for Shared Services in Education and Research. For example, the site lists resources for finding open research and the different agreements that include open access publishing. An OA barometer is also available, showing statistics on open access in Norway. There are also resources, news, and event information related to open-science activities.
