Roadmap for Open Science
The “Roadmap for Open Science with Proposed Measures for Implementation” sets out overarching recommendations that clarify the responsibilities of higher education institutions, along with proposed actions and capabilities that need to be established as part of the transition to a responsible, secure, and open research system.
The roadmap is designed to support university leadership. Each higher education institution has its own structures, and no single solution will suit all. Local action plans must therefore be allowed to differ. Swedish researchers should have access to the support and resources needed for high-quality, transparent research. The aim is to ensure equitable services and support within the open science system for everyone, regardless of institution or discipline. Common recommendations and objectives foster coordination and collaboration between institutions, which are essential for an effective transition.
The roadmap has been developed by SUHF’s Working Group on Open Science on behalf of the SUHF Coordination Group for Open Science.
